Welcome to Gigha Primary School

Gigha Primary School was built in 1897 and is at the heart of the community owned Isle of Gigha. Our school, remote island school has one composite class of P1-7 pupils. We have a strong focus on outdoor learning and sustainability and pupils care greatly about their local environment. We are a Silver Accredited Rights Respected School and our core values of nurture, equity and respect underpin everything we do.

Pupils, parents and staff all work together to create a very welcoming ethos. The school has a very active Parent Council who support the work of the school in many ways.
