This week in science we learnt about vaccines and herd immunity. Vaccines are an injection that contains a weak or dead virus. When our body gets the vaccine our white blood cells learn how to fight it off and build immunity. We have been learning about UNICEFS work in Mongolia because it is so spread out it is hard to get vaccinated. We did an experiment and tried to make a cooler like a medical fridge to keep an ice cube cool as this show how hard it is to keep vaccines cool.
