On Thursday p 4 – 7 went skiing at Glen Coe mountain centre. We were fitted with boots skis and a helmet. We stayed on the dry slope whilst we learned the basics and because the chair lift was on hold. We hope the weather is better next week.
On Friday morning we made the Frobscottle from the BFG. It was Shrek-green like Shrek-juice! Seven of us dared to drink it, and most who tried it said it was good! It had kiwis, lime juice, lemonade, cream soda, kefir, green food colouring and vitamin C to make it extra fizzy.
Ashley came in to talk to us about the HWDT (Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust). She showed us four cetaceans: porpoise, common dolphin, bottle-nosed dolphin and minke whale. We also did a survey to find out what the most popular ways of learning were for our class. We will be doing a co-designed research project with the trust. Ashley is also working with a school on Islay.
